She's one of Charlotte's best talents, she's been a regional favorite of ours since the Rank Outsiders era, she's got a great new release....it's Gigi Dover & The Big Love, back in Studio B!  

Known to their earliest fans as Animal Liberation Orchestra, the California-based A.L.O. sets up shop in Studio B for a fun, danceable live set in advance of shows in Charlotte and Asheville this week.  Their new release on Brushfire Records, "Sounds Like This", can easily be considered their strongest yet.  http://alomusic.com/soundslikethis/

With one of the most emotionally gripping voices we've heard in a long time, we're happy to announce the return of Dayna Kurtz, both to Studio B and to the recording studio: she has two new releases, one exploring her country & rock roots, the other harkening more to her love of mid-century jazz and R&B.  “I’ve always been a bit of a genre outlaw. which I guess makes it a little rough to market me,” Kurtz states.  “But I’m in love with music, not with genres."  

The husband-and-wife duo The Mastersons have an impressive new release out called "Birds Fly South", and an impressive tour opening for AND playing with Steve Earle and the Dukes this Spring.  Tune in for a live session with them and Roland Dierauf.
