Gately Williams

From a song inspired by a Cherokee creation myth ("Ancient Golden Star"), to the use of chords and frequencies intended to facilitate sound healing within the human body, the three members of Dangermuffin live their vision of giving back to the universe through their art and their day-to-day lifestyles. As a touring regional rock band, they work as hard as anyone we know, crisscrossing the Carolinas and beyond, and they've done a great job putting this wonderful corner of our country on the musical map.

Mike Ford, Now Magazine

We love this return of the classic 60's/70's outlaw country sound of Gram Parsons, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and others of late, with newcomers like Sturgill Simpson and Daniel Romano in particular bursting onto the scene. Romano hails from Ontario, and has a wide pallete of sonic layers on his newest release. He plays Boone Monday night, Knoxville Wednesday night, and Bristol's Rhythm & Roots Festival next weekend. We'll let you know if he wears one of his incredible suits like the one above when he joins Scotty Robertson in our studio.
