Live Tuesday, February 9th at 1pm: THE JAMES HUNTER SIX

Feb 5, 2016

When English soul singer/songwriter James Hunter visited WNCW a couple years ago as Guest DJ, he was particularly excited about being in NC because he had just made a pilgrimage to the home of one of his all-time favorite acts, The "5" Royales. With his return this week, for shows in Asheville Tuesday and Charlotte Wednesday, the Grammy-nominated great has a hot new release on the label he seemed destined to be on, Daptone Records.

Joe Kendrick has recently been named WNCW's new Director of Programming and Operations.  With this change, he will pass his Midday Music Mix to Scotty Robertson, who also hosts WNCW's Rhythm Theorem on Saturday nights at 11pm.

WNCW's Music Mix with Scotty Robertson will debut on Monday, January 19.
