Hosted by Renee Denton, Local Color brings to light music by emerging and established artists from all over our listening area. In addition to fresh releases and long-heralded songs, you’ll hear news from our region’s music community, occasional interviews, and in-studio performances. The one-hour show airs weekly on Monday nights at 8pm.

Western NC bands Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats, Alex Krug Combo, Raising Caine and Doc Aquatic recently played at New Mountain AVL for Local Color Live, an event sponsored by New Belgium Brewing and filmed by IAMAVL. We have all the recordings of a night of fantastic music and now Mary Hughes gets to highlight the performances on Local Color this Sunday from 7 to 8pm.
