Asheville band The Broadcast have put themselves front and center as one of our area's hottest bands since moving here from NYC a few years ago. Front and center for the band is singer Caitlin Krisko, who invokes Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, and other giants with her booming voice and dynamic command of the stage. We'll learn some of her favorite musical influences when she joins Martin Anderson as Guest DJ for the 11 o'clock hour on Wednesday. The Broadcast has just released a new single, precursor to an EP coming in early 2015.
