That great late '50's/early '60's rockabilly and R&B sound has been brought back with a fresh twist thanks to JD McPherson and band, on this 2nd album of his that we love. You'll hear his influences of Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and even some spaghetti Western inspiration too, but these are all original tunes from the guy who burst on the scene with "North Side Gal" a couple years ago. Mark Neill (Black Keys, Old 97's) co-produced this one with him.
