Darrell Scott, on his latest release 10, sings a great Ben Bullington song lamenting the state of country music today, in which he lists some of his favorite, most under-rated songwriters: Hal Ketchum, Mary Gauthier, Fred Eaglesmith, & Malcolm Holcombe. No doubt this Weaverville native is deserving of more accolades across the country. This collection, a CD/DVD combo (his first), comprises songs from all 10 of his full-length albums of 1994-2014, but he re-recorded them last fall at the legendary Nashville studios.
