Nicole Lane Frady grew up in Greenville, SC, but when she turned 18, she fled to L.A. and worked as a fashion designer for a short time, before moving to NYC, where a messy breakup inspired her to seek therapy in the form of songwriting, a la the styles of Loretta Lynn and Merle Haggard. Thus we have the reinvented Nikki Lane, who now resides in Nashville, and has teamed up with producer Dan Auerbach for the multi-layered All Or Nothin' release on New West Records. She's found the perfect balance of rockabilly, 60's pop, and her country-punk roots on this one.
