There have been a lot of posthumous Hendrix releases, with varying degrees of quality. People, Hell & Angels is likely the last, and could be considered the best. This one, recorded between March 1968 and August 1970, followed the breakup of his Experience, so there's a variety of other musicians involved, including Billy Cox, Buddy Miles, Albert & Arthur Allen, and Stephen Stills. Some Hendrix fans are lamenting yet another release of songs he never completed, others are singing the praises of recent production/mastering work done here, showcasing Hendrix's talents one more time. You decide!
