Willie hasn't had an album hit #1 on the Billboard Country chart since 1986. But this great new release debuted at #1 this past month, and for good reason -- it's 14 songs, nine of which he wrote or co-wrote, that capture the sound Willie Nelson does best. So, maybe Willie can't get any higher, but we'll see how long the 81-year-old legend can keep those younger wannabe outlaw stars from achieving their pipe dreams with this great one. We have a feeling he'll be high on WNCW's Top 100 list at year's end with this one, too.
