Todd Snider has been trying out both his songs and those of some of his favorite songwriters (Hayes Carll, Kevn Kinney, Welch/Rawlings among others) in a different band this past year, a supergroup of sorts. Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools has helped assemble the other bandmates: Neal Casal and Jesse Aycock on guitars, Chad Staehly on keyboards, and Duane Trucks on drums & percussion. They began touring last December, and their first couple shows are captured on this new DVD/CD collection that we'll focus on throughout Thursday evening. They play Knoxville Friday night, and then the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam Saturday night!
