This week on Studio B Rewind, we re-visit a 1997 session with Olu Dara, who demonstrates his talents on an array of musical instruments, including a rare wooden aboriginal trumpet. We'll also hear an interview and performance from 2006 with Don Dixon, who talks about his storied career as a performer and as producer of several classic 1980s albums, most notably REM's Murmur. Plus we'll sample outstanding performances from Studio B by Delta Moon, Danny Paisley & the Southern Grass, Railroad Earth, and more.
The Olu Dara session was hosted by WNCW's Karen Walsh, and we dedicate this edition of the show to her memory.
