Morning Edition on Wednesday, Sept. 11: "THE BLOOD OF TITANS" BY C. MICHAEL FORSYTH

Greenville, SC resident C. Michael Forsyth has indeed had many interests in life, and many accomplishments as well. Growing up in NYC, the son of an Episcopal Minister, he developed an interest in classic horror movies, telling stories and drawing comic strips. He received his degree in English Literature from Yale and went on to get his MFA from NYU.

There was a successful career in corporate communications, a gig as a writer for "News of the World" where he specialized in the 'strange and weird', a professorship in film and journalism in Hartsville, SC, and finally he arrived in Greenville, where he writes and blogs.

His second book is "The Blood of Titans" and it is a romantic story of love and war set in early Africa.

This delightful book if full of mythical people and amazing places at a time hundreds of years before Africa was colonized.

Tune in to listen to my conversation with C. Michael Forsyth about "The Blood of Titans", and plan to attend the book launch party at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 12 from 6 to 8 pm.
