All dressed up and ready to SHOW! Flat Rock Playhouse
Flat Rock Playhouse will, hopefully, always be known as the State Theatre of North Carolina. But while funding cuts and other setbacks have taken their toll on many institutions of the arts, Flat Rock Playhouse seems to take things in stride.
On Monday, I spoke with Hillary Hart, Managing Director at Flat Rock, about things to come, the opening of 'Les Miserables' to be presented in a whole new way, and about the many ways that that the playhouse continues to reach out to the community to share a love of the arts with everyone from the very young to the more seasoned audience.
