Morning Edition: Children's Equestrian Ministry

On Wednesday, February 22nd, a conversation with Lee Cathcart about his efforts to reach children before they become too connected to technology, and get them outside where they can learn about the old ways of gardening and a good work ethic. Cathcart's Children's Equestrian Ministry is willing to travel anywhere to talk to groups and organizations about sustainable gardening and about making sure that the old ways don't get lost. He spoke recently in Forest City where Grahamtown is beginning a square foot garden that will offer families in Rutherford County an opportunity to rent a plot for their own vegetables at a very low price.
