WNCW's More to the Story, a part of Morning Edition at 8:51 am most Wednesday's, featured a discussion with Emily Patrick of the Asheville Citizen Times (originally aired Sept. 28, 2016) about Asheville politics. Half of the interview dealt with Emily's articles on Asheville area visits from Republican nominees for President and VP, Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their different styles. The other half of the discussion was on the possibility that come November, voters might place a female majority in power on its Board of County Commissioners.
