This classic album from 1988 just might be WNCW hosts' collective favorite Irish release, so we'll spin this for your St. Patrick's Day evening. Recorded mostly in Dublin and Galway between 1986 and '88, Mike Scott, Steve Wickham, Trevor Hutchinson and company made the perfect blend of their rock background and their traditional Irish roots. Although it never achieved much chart success, it became enough of a cult classic to spawn a 2001 "Part II" collection, a 2006 remastered release, and a 2013 7-CD box set for the 25th anniversary last year. Join us for some good craic, and a bang on the ear.
