This 1987 debut helped establish John Gorka as a leader in the "contemporary folk" singer/songwriter scene that burst out of NYC and Boston in the late '80's and remained dominant through the '90's. Fellow singers Shawn Colvin and Lucy Kaplansky join him here, blending well with his rich, warm baritone.
