Monday Night April 20th at 8pm: GENE CLARK - Two Sides To Every Story

Gene Clark, best known for his 1964-66 stint as founder and chief songwriter for The Byrds ("Feel a Whole Lot Better", "Eight Miles High", "Here Without You"), spent the majority of his career as a solo act, and while his name may not be as popular as fellow Byrds like McGuinn, Crosby, or Hillman, many critics consider him a pioneer of folk-rock, country-rock, and psychedelic-rock. This album was released in 1977, but has been sadly out of print for many years, until this month! High Moon Records has reissued it, and we are glad to see it become available to Americana and Cosmic American Music fans today. Emmylou Harris, Doug Dillard, John Hartford, Byron Berline, and Al Perkins are among the fellow musicians here.
