While all of Emmylou's early albums had the great influence of Gram Parsons/Flying Burrito Brothers, 1975's Elite Hotel is one of the strongest. But this one also has maybe the strongest participation of Rodney Crowell's numerous collaborations with her, with two covers/cowrites of his here, as well as studio work.
