Joey & David Landreth grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and discovered early on their singing voices meshed well together. Together with Ryan Roth on drums and Alex Campbell on keys, their band's fully flushed out roots-rock sound conjures up that of The Allman Brothers, The Eagles, and Jackson Browne among others. Now on America's Slate Creek Records (which also has Angaleena Presley's latest), the brothers are dipping into the home of the Southern blues they love, and will visit live with Martin Monday morning for a stripped-down acoustic session before plugging in at their Knoxville show that evening.
