ME 2/13: VITICULTURE CONFERENCE COMES TO WARREN WILSON COLLEGE ON 2/20/2013

The 3rd Annual Sustainable Viticulture Conference is coming, and it is DIRTy! Chuck Blethen, owner of the Jewel of the Blue Ridge Vineyard, founding member of the Sustainable Agriculture Viticulture Institute (SAVI) and organizer of the conference, spent some time talking with me yesterday about his favorite topic - wine - and how to make it sustainably and tasty.

Blethen talked about the all day line up of lectures and panel discussions, with subjects ranging from under the earth and the importance of the soil, to the vines,  to the grapes and to the varieties that will grow well in North Carolina.

Don't miss this interesting discussion about one of the world's top beverages.
