A former member of Old Crow Medicine Show (guitar, banjo, pedal steel, songwriting), Gill Landry is on tour in support of his great solo recording, and stops by WNCW before his Wednesday night show in Asheville. While he shares a lot of the same influences as his Old Crow bandmates, his own collection has a strikingly original sound, embellished by collaborations with Laura Marling, Robert Ellis, and Odessa Jorgensen among others.
