This Illinois songwriter just released an album called "Lower Alabama: The Loxley Sessions" that definitely left a strong first impression on us with its powerful songs and tasteful production. Then it dawned on us that David was the frontman for the band Backyard Tire Fire, which formed in Asheville in 2000! He opens up for Tab Benoit in Asheville on Wednesday and in Charlotte on Thursday.
