It was a two for one segment of the 'Friday Feature Interview of the Week' when WNCW talked with Sophie Mills of UNC-Asheville and New York Journalist and Author Andrew Scotchie, a native of Asheville. Mills was named the 2015 Collegiate Teaching Award Winner - a first for a professor within the NC system. Scotchie was named the winner of the Wille Parker Peace History Book Award for "A Gallery of Ashevillians: The History of a People of a Mountain Town." Originally aired Jan. 15, 2016.
