Wade Edward Speer

Many of us in Western North Carolina have either heard about or maybe even experienced what's known as the Brown Mountain Lights of Pisgah Forest/Table Rock.  This longtime mystery or legacy if you will, led to the writing of a book called "The Brown Mountain Lights: History, Science and Human Nature, Explain an Appalachian Mystery."  The books Author, Geologist Ed Speer of Marion, sat down with WNCW to discuss what his research produced.  Original air date was Feb. 16, 2018.
