Many of us in Western North Carolina have either heard about or maybe even experienced what's known as the Brown Mountain Lights of Pisgah Forest/Table Rock. This longtime mystery or legacy if you will, led to the writing of a book called "The Brown Mountain Lights: History, Science and Human Nature, Explain an Appalachian Mystery."
