To celebrate WNCW's 25 years of public broadcasting, we are auctioning of an autographed guitar. At the 20th Annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam in 2008, WNCW was able to collect 35 signatures from most of the stars on this Epiphone guitar. It is without a doubt one of our most prized possessions, but we are ready to find a permanent home for it: yours!
Signatures include those of Gov’t Mule, the Del McCoury Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, The Lee Boys, John Paul Jones, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Michael Franti, Travis Tritt, Robben Ford, Ruthie Foster, Ron Holloway, and Robert Kearns. But there are a few we have not yet identified, and other artists at this special two-night Christmas Jam included Ben Harper, Steve Earle, Joan Osborne, Coheed & Cambria, and the late blues legend Johnny Winter. Perhaps you will be able to find some of them on here?
The opening bid for this guitar is $500 (Guitar value = $349; Soft Case value = $33.99). Thank you for supporting WNCW, during this month of our 25th Anniversary! The winning bid must be paid in full before the bidder receives the guitar. The guitar must be picked up at the station or shipping costs must be paid by the winning bidder. Auction ends November 13, 2014 at 1PM.
