We recently received a generous donation from Laurel Hecht in memory of her husband Steve Hecht, who was a long-time blues host at WNCW. Steve was a host of WNCW’s “Saturday Night House Party” and Founder of Piedmont Talent. He passed away from cancer almost 4 years ago in May of 2013. Through his love of blues and talent for working with artists, he built an agency that was at the forefront of the blues and roots markets in the US and abroad.
