Ross O'Neal

Music Host

Ross is a man of the cloth who finds that music indeed soothes his soul. He moved to Spindale in the summer of 2014, a place he considers the epicenter of the finest independent public radio. Ross grew up in Durham, NC listening to 60's rock and folk albums on his older brother's record player and tuning to Duke University's WDBS, where he first heard album oriented rock.  During his teen years, Ross yearned to spin discs on an FM studio turntable. Degrees from NC State, East Carolina and Duke took him down a different career path, until he started his second childhood volunteering at WNCW in Fall of 2014. Ross hosts the Midnight Folk Hour when the clock strikes 12 on Friday Nights
