Patterson Hood and band are back with their tenth studio release, but this time Mike Cooley, "the George Harrison of the Drive-By Truckers", is much more prominent with his originals, having penned 6 of the 13 here.  We love it when we can bring you the latest from one of our favorite bands, and we love that we can also offer a CD copy of English Oceans as a thank-you gift for your pledge of support during this week of our Spring Fund Drive!  Call 800-245-8870 during the hours of our on-air fund driving efforts to reserve a copy to be mailed your way.

Thursday Night the 27th between 8pm and Midnight: LAKE STREET DIVE - Bad Self Portraits

One of our favorite bands of these last few years, Lake Street Dive is back.  We've loved seeing them progress since they first met at the New England Conservatory of Music.  They brought their blend of jazz, R&B, and pop to the Colbert Report recently, they bring it back to our area for live shows this week, and we'll bring Bad Self Portraits your way Thursday night.
